浮动汇率下，depreciation 表示exchange rate贬值. 体现在e上就是e increase相反appreciation 是升值 体现在e上就是e decrease or fall比如人民币e=10 RMB/GBP， e 增加就是人民币贬值固定汇率用revaluation or devaluation 来表示拓展资料：浮动汇率是指在纸币制度下，一国货币的对外币值，依据外汇市场上的供求状况，任其自由涨落，对汇率的波动幅度不予固定。国际上现行的汇率制度就是浮动汇率制。根据市场供求关系而自由涨跌，货币当局不进行干涉的汇率。在浮动汇率下，金平价已失去实际意义，官方汇率也只起某种参考作用。就浮动形式而言，如果政府对汇率波动不加干预，完全听任供求关系决定汇率，称为自由浮动或清洁浮动。但是，各国政府为了维持汇率的稳定，或出于某种政治及经济目的，要使汇率上升或下降，都或多或少地对汇率的波动采取干预措施。这种浮动汇率在国际上通称为管理浮动或肮脏浮动。1973年固定汇率制瓦解后，西方国家普遍实行浮动汇率制度。汇率浮动形式多样化，包括自由浮动、管理浮动、盯住浮动、单一浮动、联合浮动等。在浮动汇率制度下，汇率并不是纯粹的自由浮动，政府在必要的时候会对汇率进行或明或暗的干预。由于汇率的变化是由市场的供求状况决定的，因此浮动汇率比固定汇率波动要频繁，而且波幅大。特别提款权的一篮子汇价成为汇率制度的组成部分。 有管理的浮动汇率制是指一国货币当局按照本国经济利益的需要，不时地干预外汇市场，以使本国货币汇率升降朝有利于本国的方向发展的汇率制度。在有管理的浮动汇率制下，汇率在货币当局确定的区间内波动。区间内浮动有助于消除短期因素的影响，当区间内的汇率波动仍无法消除短期因素对汇率的影响时，中央银行再进行外汇市场干预以消除短期因素的影响。固定汇率，是指由政府规定该国货币同其他国家货币的比价，两国货币汇率波动被限制在一定幅度以内。在金本位制度下，两国货币兑换是以各自货币含金量作为基础，铸币的平价则是它们汇率的标准，此时汇率的波动受到黄金输送点(Goldpoints)的约束，这是典型的固定汇率制。
