是不用加the。UK本身就是the United Kingdom of....,USA本身就是the United States of....。如果加the,就是the the...，就会多出一个定冠词的。。。

在法律性的国家名称之前，一般都是需要使用the的。但是在传统或者俗名之前一般就不要。

比如中国直接用China不加the，但是中华人民共和国就要加the people's republic of China。美国也一样，使用America之前就不要，使用USA就要，因为这是the united states of America的简称。

在英国也一样，the UK即为the united kingdoms，但是不说the England，而是直接说England。
