"I am taking orders from my General Manager."2. "Can you take orders from customers on Table No. 88?"3. "Have you recorded the booking/reservation by customer A?"

在饭店坐下后一般是先要菜单,如果桌上没有,而服务员又没有主动送过来,你可以这样说:waiter, menu, please!orwaiter, may I have the menu , please? I'll have some chicken soup,a steak and potatoes,………,some beer, please。也就是说客人“点菜”一般不用“order”,而是说“I'll have some……”。 Yesterday evening John invited some friends to a Chinese restaurant to have meal ,John ordered lots of dishes and drinks,so they had a good time。
