祝贺信的主要内容：(1)祝贺事由；(2)祝贺语及正文；(3)结束语

祝贺信是一种向收信人表示祝贺的信件，一般用于对方有什么喜事或取得了什么成绩，如婚姻、节日、寿诞、毕业等。

祝贺信是人们情感交流的一种方式，多写祝贺信可以使亲友同事之间加强联系，增进亲情。

祝贺信如同一般的简短书信，可长可短，格式上无特别的要求，但书写时应做到真诚、自然、亲切动人。内容上可尽情发挥。主要是以祝贺事由开头，随后写正文祝贺语发表自己的看法并用热情的语言向对方表示鼓励、赞扬、祝福。有时，也可以有所发挥，谈一些相关的看法和建议。如在祝贺成绩的贺信中，可以分析一下对方所取得成绩的主客观原因，最后用结束语结束。

Dear Babs:

So you're a year older today —— or don't you want to be reminded? Anyway, congratulations and best wishes.
