Since the development of computer， people are able to use some kind of software to compute lots of complex functions and mathematical calculation. Computer becomes the most helpful equipment for the sciencists because they can use their time more efficiently. Also， internet is another useful tool for us today. The development of internet brings a great impact toward the society. Instead of going to library and fliping all the books to figure out some information， we can just simply use a mouse and click on the website to do research. The internet leads us to a place where we can find unlimited information and resources. It makes our life much easier and better. The last technology is cellphone. Nowadays， many people have a cellphone. But it just appears on the market for about 10 years. It is very convenience to the users because we can talk to anyone we want with a phone as small as a wallet. Also， we can communicate with others by making a phone call instead of sending letters. 头发长很慢
大一第一学期，我的成绩很不理想，而且还挂了科。当看了自己的成绩后，心里很是难过。那天夜里，我躲在被子里哭了，夹杂着泪水，我想到了爸爸妈妈。他们供我上这所学校很是不容易，但我却以这样的“成绩”回报他们。那个寒假，那个春节，我没有过好，我暗自发誓，一定要努力。 也许是第一学期的沉重打击吧。我的成绩相对第一学期有了进步。因而，这次评优中我获得了“学习进步奖”。虽然这个奖与一、二、三等奖学金相比的话，有些“微不足道”。但我想，这是对我努力的一种肯定。对于这个奖项的获得，我有些意外也有些激动。我不是一个很聪明的人，但我会很努力的去做好每一件事。我的舅舅也对我说过：“勤能补拙，笨鸟先飞”。我也相信：Where there is a will,there is a way.只有锲而不舍，不断努力才会有进步。这只是我的一个小小进步，我不会以此为终点，我会提醒自己在接下来的学习中继续保持这种刻苦学习的精神。宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来。 在人才济济的大学校园里，我们每个人似乎都是得那么的渺小，唯有自信，拼搏才能扬起远航的风帆。
