Childhood MemoryI remember it like yesterday.We were all waiting patiently for my father to come home from the race track.He promised me and my sister that if he won,he would take us all to Rye Playland.The minutes felt like hours.It was the longest hour of my life.Then finally we heard the car door shut.Me and my sister ran to the front door anxiously waiting for the news.He opened the door and walked in.We tried to read the expression on his face but of course he was looking down while taking his sneakers off.The suspense was killing us.Then he looked up.No words were spoken between us and our father.He just gave us a blank stare.I didn't know what to think.I was scared to ask because I was so worried of the response.It was that moment when he said to us,"Well kids,pick out what your going to wear to Rye playland this weekend." Excitement just jumped through out my whole body.We both ran over and gave him the biggest hug and ran upstairs to pick out what we had to bring and start the trip to Rye on the weekends.

每一天都是美好的o我觉得我的生日是最最美好的一天o 一天,我一回家,就发现摆在桌上的"肯得基爷爷",他的笑容还是那么慈祥o我非常诧异,问妈妈:"今天怎么吃肯得基?不是在特殊日子才吃吗?你忘了,今天是你的生日呀!Happy birthday!"太好了!" 尽管今天我过生日,但我还是马上把作业做完o;做往作业后,我刚起身,突然,一片黑暗o我想:会不会停电了?这时,空中出现了亮光,似乎是一团鬼火o我汗毛都竖了起来o这时,"啪"一声灯亮了o我发现原来是妈妈举着生日蛋糕向我走来,我便嘀咕了起来:"生日过得也太吓人了吧o""别生气,来,吃肯得基o"我拿起一块热乎乎的鸡块就啃了起来,别提有多好吃了,我一抬头,发现肯得基全家桶上的肯得基爷爷在对我笑,好像也在庆祝我的生日呢!我也情不自禁地对他笑了笑o 最最开心的时刻来到了,我要开始吹蜡烛了!我的嘴对着那10支蜡烛用力一吹,闭上眼睛许了一个愿望,那就是……嘻嘻,保密o吹完蜡烛,就该吃蛋糕了o我切了一块蛋糕就往嘴里塞,全然不顾文雅,满嘴都是奶油o自己拥有了好东西就该与别人分享o我们把剩下的一半蛋糕送给邻居的小宝宝吃o小宝宝肯定喜欢吃o 每一天都是美好的,只要我们去努力品味它,他就会让你感到快乐o美好的一天朦胧之中我睁开了眼睛，看到一束金色的阳光照在我的小屋子里，美好的一天就开始了，当作家就是悠闲，早晨睡到自然醒，想到哪儿玩就去哪儿玩，午休时间充裕，不用去公司，不用穿工作服，可以去野炊，上网，看电视，还可以守着我的小屋享受阳光，有了灵感就写上几笔。哦，差点忘了，今天我还要和中学几个好朋友去聚餐呢，说好约在八点，现在已经七点四十分了。等我收拾完毕，门铃也响了，我打开门，好几个同学拿着大大的礼盒站在门口，吓了我一跳。瞧瞧他们，穿着时尚的衣服，打扮的花枝招展，快认不出来了，丽丽拍着我的肩说“我看咱们呀别出来了，就地你家聚会算了。”“好好好，我同意！”他们都十分兴奋，我也不好拒绝，便打开冰箱，取出前天买的果汁、饼干、水果、松籽什么的招待他们。不一会儿，我们就打成一片了，聊聊近况，不时从窗口飞出一阵欢笑声，幸亏我的小屋是单单一间，不然我们这群丫头非得把左邻右舍都吵死。不聊不知道

最美好的回忆(The most beautiful memory) My grandma lived in the country twelve years ago. At that time, I often went to visit my grandparents with my parents during the holidays. Although I was very young then, now I can still remember a lot of things there clearly. I was very glad when we went to the country. I enjoyed seeing the beautiful things in the countryside. My grandpa grew many kinds of vegetables in his garden, such as cabbages, tomatoes, potatoes and carrots. Every morning, he fetched water from a river, and then watered the vegetables. Grandpa took good care of his vegetables as if they were his children. When autumn came, the garden was covered with greenery(绿色植物). Grandpa was always happy to see that. My grandma kept many chickens. They were all very lively. I liked playing with them; sometimes I had dinner with them playing around. I always thought they loved me. There was a small forest near my grandparents’ house. The trees were very thick. I usually played with my cousin in the woods after a meal. We could hear the birds singing in the trees and see many small animals playing in the grass. The air in the woods was fresh because of the trees. We usually played a game called “Mud Fighting”(打泥仗). First, we made mud balls. The more, the better; the bigger, the better. Then, we threw them at each other. The person who hit the other person first was the winner. We liked the game though it made our clothes dirty. In front of the woods, there was a small river. The water in the river was very clean and not very deep. In summer, it was quite cool. However, it became warm in winter. I could see many fishes in the river. Sometimes, my grandpa caught some fishes for supper. How delicious they were! There was a bridge which was made of stone over the river. I could go across the bridge to the other side. There were also many beautiful flowers and lines of trees on the banks of the river.
