英语写作 能力是一种综合英语能力,它不仅考作者所掌握的语言知识,使用外语的熟练程度,同时还考个人的思维能力和知识面,因此外语写作对于大多数人而言,都是件头痛的事情。但这并非说外语写作高不可攀,一样有捷径可循.

如何打好英语写作基础

一、注重英语写作技能的培养

1.抓基础多动

写作是学生综合语言运用能力的体现, 不是一朝一夕就能练好的。于是开学伊始,就应该让学生从字母开始,逐词逐句临摹字帖,正确使用标点符号,反复多练,练好一手漂亮的英文字。

2.重口语多动口

利用多媒体课件,课上练习对话,熟背课文,课下利用Free Talk训练他们能说流利的英语,从而自如地表达自己的思想感情。中学生善于模仿,通过背诵课文,一些 句子 就会在学生心中生根,在写作中进行模仿,凭语感和课文结构, 利用个人的智慧和对 作文 题目要求的理解,学生就会写出语法正确,句意通顺,结构严谨规范的作文。

3.仿写、改写练习

如学了“My Favorite Subiect” 后,要求学生写“MyFavo rite Animal”,“My Favorite Teacher”等短文。这一活动基于学生个人兴趣、自身生活 经验 和认知水平,既可以展示学生语言运用能力, 又增进了学生间的相互了解。模仿的目的在于实践,实践才能检验学生的写作能力和水平,写作实践也能提高和巩固学生的写作水平。

4.实用趣味训练

词组是句子的组成部分,词组积累的多少决定 文章 是否精彩。因此我在平日教学中注重词组的积淀,利用“词组接龙”丰富学生的词汇量。句子是文章的基本单位,我常常有意识地引导学生从句子开始,进行连句成文的训练。上课时,我采取“问答一连句成篇”的方式,教师口头提问,将学生的答案写在黑板上,然后师生互动,用一些关联词连句成篇。学生逐步学会用简单的句子表达思想,并学会用一个语篇来表达连贯的思想。

二、批改 英语作文 时应遵守的原则

1.重视学生情感态度

开展情感态度评价是保持学生学习热情的一条有效途径。教师不但要评价学生的学习能力、 学习态度 ,更要注重学生在写作学习中的表现。教师应把评价定位在激励学生的进步和发展上。教师应鼓励学生多纵向比较,少横向比较,让学生看到自己的进步,体验成功的快乐,从而成为学英语的动力。

2.注重语言的顺畅

行文是否连贯顺畅, 决定学生是否会使用连接词与过渡语。过渡语在写作中使用得当,可以给文章增辉添彩,可以使描写更细致人微, 说明文 层次清楚,条分缕析,使文章说服力更强。反之,则使文章逻辑不清,显得生硬,乏味。虽然初一学生只学过and、but、or但仍然要鼓励他们活学多用,使文章增色添彩。

3.符合语言的标准

文章写得精彩与否,决定于修饰语的多少,文章的成与败,决定于主谓是否一致;词性、词组、句型使用是否正确;动词的时态、第三人称单数的使用是否正确;是否注意名词的单复数与不可数,简单句、并列句、复合句的运用是否适当。现以“My Favorite EnglishTeacher”一文为例,分析学生暴露出的许多问题。

4.明确文章要求

这与学生审题是否清楚,格式使用、人称把握是否正确有关。对命题作文必须认真审题,自由作文必须立好“意”,有明确的主题。以前面那篇命题作文“MyFavorite English Teacher”为例,文章的主题是关于记叙“我最喜欢的一位英语教师”,因而就不能泛泛而谈教师这一职业。在写作过程中学生必须按照提示的范围和要求来写文章,提示的内容是文章的总体框架,学生应该在提示内容的范围内进行分析、构思、想象和发展段落。
