Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.--你能发誓讲实话,讲出全部实话,而且只讲实话吗? The governmentpledged their support for the plan. Has he fulfilled his election pledge?--他履行竞选时的承诺了吗? He took an oath of loyalty to the government.--他宣誓效忠政府。 Shevowed never to speak to him again.--她发誓再也不和他说话了。 I made a silent vow to be more careful in the future.--我暗暗发誓,日后要倍加小心。
