Abstract: China is rich in biomass reserves but the utilization efficiency of biomass is not high. Biomass pyrolysis is one of the efficient ways of using biomass resources which rank the top 4 energy in the world. This paper mainly introduces the rationale of fast pyrolysis and several key factors affecting pyrolysis, and briefly elaborates the status quo and outlook of research on biomass pyrolysis technologies at home and abroad.
