北京新东方倍学口语老师建议，在英语角用英语交流形式主要是“自由交谈”，这种随意的自由交谈对于听力和语言水平没有多大提高，英语角只有一点练习输出的作用，那就是把自己已经掌握的，尤其是刚学到的英语试着说出来。但作用太小，自己跟自己说足矣，完全不必花很多周折去英语角里找个人去说。到英语角后，几乎所有同学都喜欢和自己英语水平高的同学交流，认为这样才能帮助自己提高，见到水平低的学生就找借口溜掉，认为这样只能是自己在教别人，而自己不但学不到什么，还会因听对方的错误英语把自己“带坏了”。结果又想反了！语言学家的研究清楚地显示，跟比自己的外语水平低的人交流，反而比跟跟自己水平高的人交流，更能提高自己的外语水平。

Students have less chance to speaking in the class, but in the English corner, they can speak what they want.
