一、趣味性作业,让学生学得更有趣。

新课程标准倡导激发和培养学生的学习兴趣,使他们树立学习的自信心。因此作业设计也应体现新颖、有趣。以不断激发学生学习兴趣,发展语言能力。

比如,教学表示数字单词时可以布置学生收集自己家里有关数字的信息,并让其在小组里交流。学生除了收集电话号码、门牌号外,还收集了全家的生日、身高以及自己的零用钱等。

这些联系学生日常生活而又趣味浓厚的作业,不仅达到了让学生复习了所学知识的目的,还激发了学生的智力潜能,从而更好地促进学生接受新知识和进行创造性学习。

二、基础性作业,让学生学得更有效。

英语基础知识的掌握对小学生的英语学习是十分必要的。让学生巩固所学的基础知识,虽然抄写是一种最为简单的方法,但要避免无质量的重复抄写。我们应该遵循学生“先快后慢遗忘规律”和“学以致用”来设计这类作业。

但应避免单调的机械重复的听读,不致使学生产生厌倦情绪。为了提高学生的朗读水平,可以要求学生用录音机把自己朗读的单词或对话录下来,带到课堂上放给同学们听,互相交流,互相评价,互相欣赏。此外定期进行一些英语朗读比赛,对话表演,让基础的训练适合学生基础教学的特点。

三、启发性作业,让学生思维更活跃。

敏捷的思维能力是交际应变能力的根本条件。因此,教师除在课堂教学中不断对学生进行思维方面的训练外,作业设计中也必须注意启发学生的思维。

对学生回馈中出现的这样那样的偏差甚至错误,一是不要害怕,因为只有发现问题,才能去解决问题,才会不断完善自己的作业设计,二是注意采用适当的纠正方法,既不挫伤学生的积极性,有能进一步激起他们的学习兴趣和探求精神。
