二次配管：英文简称HOOK-UP，就是将工艺设备同各种主管道连接起来。
二次配管的特点：
1、布置和走向比较自由
二次配管一般是在主管道和工艺设备安装完毕之后进行的，相当于在三维空间固定了两点（起点和终点），HOOK-UP就是要用管道将这两点连起来。
2、涉及的系统多
二次配管设计的系统一般都比较多。所涉及的系统就有五大类：气体、工艺冷却水、超纯水、废水和化学废液、排气。
3、材料种类多
因为二次配管涉及的系统多，而不同系统的介质不一样，对材料性能的要求也不一样，因而材料种类也很多。
4、管径较小
二次配管的管道直径相对于主管道管径是较小的。

配管种类：
1、硬塑料管
硬塑料管适用于室内或有酸、碱等腐蚀介质场所的明敷。
明配的硬塑料管在穿过楼板等易受机械损伤的地方时应用钢管保护；埋于地面内的硬塑料管，露出地面易受机械损伤段落，也直用钢管保护；硬塑料管不准用在高温、高热的场所（如锅炉房），也不应在易受机械损伤的场所敷设。
2、半硬塑料管
半硬塑料管只适用于六层及六层以下的一般民用建筑的照明工程。
应敷设在预制混凝土楼板问的缝隙中，从上到下垂直敷设时，应暗敷在预留的砖缝中，并用水泥砂浆抹平，砂浆厚度不小于15mm。半硬塑料管不得敷设在楼板平面上，也不得在吊顶及护墙夹层内及板条墙内敷设。
3、壁管
薄壁管通常用于干燥场所进行明敷，也可暗敷于吊顶、夹板墙内及墙体与混凝土层内。
厚壁管用于防爆场所明敷或在机械载重场所进行暗敷，也可经防腐处理后直接埋人泥地。镀锌管通常使用在室外，或在有腐蚀性的土层中暗敷。
