按照中考的标准来看，初中英语作文满分是20分。
其中给分的标准为：
1、整篇作文满分20分，其中内容8分，语言8分，结构4分2、内容贴切，句子流畅，用语准确，加整体印象分1分；不满60个词，少1——5个词扣0.5分，6——10个词扣1分。
2、所有给出问题涉及的三项内容，每少一项扣3分；每个拼写，大小写，标点符号等错误扣0.5分；同一的拼写错误不重复扣分，扣分总和不超过2分；语法错误每项扣1分，同一错误不重复扣分，扣分总和不超过2分。

注意切勿出现中式英语：
翻译错误的出现不仅是因为水平有限，而且往往出于思维的惰性。把汉语原文的词语都变成英文词语，按一定顺序串成句子，确实已经让初学者费了不少脑筋。
这时尤其要认识到，写作过程远远没有结束。你还需要注意:词语是否译得恰当，要避免虚假对应，词语间搭配是否合适，要避免照搬汉语搭配，句子结构是否自然，要避免中式英文和翻译腔。
