我也想问。。可能是因为rotten 英文解释是(of food, wood, etc. 食物、树木等 ) that has decayed and cannot be eaten or used.其中cannot be used 意思就是不能用了，但是穷人还是要住，所以就是说buildings还没完全坏，所以用rotting, 还能勉强住吧。
