Chinese couplet

你写的是一副对联吧。应该是：阳光普照，园丁心里春意暖；雨露滋润，桃李枝头蓓蕾红。对联一般是很难翻译，无法做到形同而意合，因为中文的对联和英文的couplet不是一个概念。我尝试过对联的翻译，但目前为止，只译出一联。中文的对联讲究上下两联词性、词义和音韵的对应，而英文的对联则没有严格的要求，只要求上下两联押韵，音节相同并且平仄相对应。翻译重在达意，即能够表达其准确的意思。所以，可以对此做自由的处理。我的译文是：Like buds beholding rain and sunshine,A priceless thing of mine,Is your kind and hearted favor,That will not fade forever.后面的可以为：Happy Teachers' Day. Antithetical couplet

对联不需要押韵，只需要上联末字是仄声字，下联末字是平声字。（没有押韵的要求，再则极少有对联是押韵的，甚或可以说押韵反而不好）
