一、GDS系统含义

gds系统的全称是可燃气体和有毒气体检测报警系统，是英文Gas Detection System的缩写。在企业生产、储运过程中，经常会涉及到各类可燃、有毒气体。gds系统的功能就是就是实时监测各泄漏源状况，当出现泄漏危险时主动提醒，以达到消除隐患保证安全生产的作用。

二、GDS系统演变

在2014年的原安监总局《国家安全监管总局关于加强化工安全仪表系统管理的指导意见》（安监总管三 [2014] 116号）（以下简称116号文），文中规定“化工安全仪表系统（SIS）包括安全联锁系统、紧急停车系统和有毒有害、可燃气体及火灾检测保护系统等”。因此当时上的很多GDS项目都是包含在SIS系统中的，这也是GDS系统需要SIL认证的原因。

由于气体检测报警系统受管辖比较乱，有的要消防认证，有的要SIL认证，很多时候会互相冲突。因此，为了更好的规范GDS系统，在2020年实施的最新GBT50493标准中，明确了GDS系统独立的要求，即不属于SIS系统（不再需要SIL认证）、DCS（不能直接进DCS）系统等，单独一套系统。

三、GDS系统构成

一套完整的gds系统应包含气体探测器、GDS系统控制柜（含控制器或plc卡件）、交换机、操作站（含监控软件）等。
