撤稿，指撤销稿件、论文等。撤稿理由包括剽窃他人未发表手稿（duplicated from an unpublished manuscript）、操纵作者身份（authorship manipulation）、试图颠覆同行评议发表系统（an attempt to subvert the peer review process）、内容抄袭（substantial overlap most notably with the article cited）、图像未经允许不当复制（figure duplication without appropriate permission）等
