1、定义不同

Revenue是指企业销售主要商品或服务（ordinary activities)所收到的金额。

例句：Revenue from brown goods, including televisions and hi-fis, rose nearly 12 per cent.

包括电视机和高保真音响在内的黑色家电的销售收入增加了将近12%。

Gain一般指偶发的，非重复性交易所得。

例句：a £3 000 gain from our investment

Income 一词更宽泛的用于企业总收入或个人收入。

2、使用范围不同

Revenue一般用于企业会计，出现在利润表中（income statement)。

Gain最常见的就是企业在出售资产时因为资产增值获得的收益。

Income来自主要业务或任何其他业务活动，或者一些不由其实际业务而产生的收入和进帐，都纳入在income statement之中。

3、关系不同

Gain和Revenue都属于income的范围，二者是并列关系。

一、用法不同

revenue：比较正式，通常用于公司，收入、营业收入，在英国等同于turnover。

income：比较口语，即可指公司也可指个人，指公司往往指net profit。

二、含义不同

revenue：在会计上的含义较严格，一般指企业的”营业收入“比income 正式。

income：所得，一般是个人收入。

三、范围不同

1、Revenue：包括主营业务收入，也包括分红，股息等其它收入。一般的账目收入都用Revenue。

例：Tax frauds are dealt with by the Inland Revenue.

税务欺诈由国内税务局负责处理。

2、Income ：指工作收入或因投资而获得的收益。

例句：His way of life conforms to his income。
