一、选校

申请美国会计硕士的第一步就是选校，对于大家来说选校最大的难度就是找不到准确可信的信息，各大学校的官网只能得到一些有限的信息，而网络上的信息太庞杂，有很多虚假的，过时的，或没有经过验证的信息，搜集起来需要一步步的挑选验证，需要花费大量的时间。选校最主要的就是选择适合自己的学校，尽量找找身边有没有出国留学的前辈，如果能有个前辈为详细讲解分析，那将为你选校带来很大的帮助。

如果是考虑毕业后留在美国发展，那选校时首要考虑的就是地理位置。因为美国公司招聘人才的时候讲究就近原则，所以你选择的学校所在的地理位置很重要，学校所在的城市有越多的世界500强或其他大型企业，你毕业后可选择的范围就越广。对于会计专业的学生，最好能选择有四大会计事务所，各大金融机构，金融业发达的各大城市。

“四大”是目前美国会计硕士留学生就业时的首要原则，如果学校所在的城市有四大，一般学校就会和四大有合作项目，这样你通过校招进入四大工作，或者是获得四大实习机会的几率就会越大。

另外，如果要留在美国发展，选校时还要注意学校的专排，专排靠前的学校在美国的地域影响会更大。比如会计专业排名第一的UT大学麦库姆斯商学院，虽然UT大学的综排只有56，但会计专业却很强，如果留学生回国发展UT大学并不是最好的选择，但如果是要留在美国发展，UT大学的会计专业一定是个很好的选择，它在所在的城市以及周围其它几大城市都极富盛名，也就意味着它所在区域的绝大多数公司都很喜欢从UT大学招收会计专业的人才。

2. 其他角度

这里的其它角度有很多，包括气候，文化，消费水平，奖助学金情况等等，这些方面主要是因人而异的。如果你的经济压力比较大，那你可能就要考虑学校所在地的消费水平，学校的学费，申请奖助学金的难易程度之类的。
