在维克托·迈尔-舍恩伯格及肯尼斯·库克耶编写的《大数据时代》中大数据指不用随机分析法（抽样调查）这样捷径，而采用所有数据进行分析处理。
大数据的5V特点（IBM提出）：Volume（大量）、Velocity（高速）、Variety（多样）、Value（低价值密度）、Veracity（真实性）。
会计：
会计是一个汉语词语，读音kuài jì。
（英文名称为Accounting）会计有两层意思，一是指会计工作，二是指会计工作人员。
会计工作是根据《会计法》、《预算法》、《统计法》、各种税收法规为法律依据来核对记账凭证、财务账簿、财务报表，从事经济核算和监督的过程，是以货币为主要计量单位，运用专门的方法，核算和监督一个单位经济活动的一种经济管理工作。
会计工作人员是进行会计工作的人员，有会计主管、会计监督和核算、财产管理、出纳等人员。
我国从周代就有了专设的会计官职，掌管赋税收入、钱银支出等财务工作，进行月计、岁会。亦即，每月零星盘算为计，一年总盘算为会，两者合在一起即成会计一词。
